Depression

When you are depressed everything seems negative. You ignore the flawless nature around you; sky’s different colors at different times; sometimes painted azure blue, sometimes wooled with clouds, during aurora and dusk splashed with golden glitter and black at night. You are unlikely to absorb positivity during that state and so you ignore all the beautiful things around you and all the happy moments happening around you. But it patently doesn’t mean u can’t soak bliss into your soul. It doesn’t mean you are empty from inside. Depression is real and so is contentment, you just need to swallow this fact. You just need to surround yourself with applauding people and KICK OUT the negative ones. Yes, literally just kick them out. Obviously depression isn’t that easy to punch and make it melt away. But it is not something which is impossible. You just got to take some measures. You just need a will to wipe off that actual thought which is causing depression. And it can only be done by YOURSELF. Nowadays, majority of ongoing generation is suffering through depression. Sometimes it is palpable through people’s habits and actions but often it is masked. People feigned to be happy but you never know what’s going inside their minds. But have you ever mused on why this generation is suffering through depression especially the teenagers? Maybe we have become so much sophisticated! We compare our lives with other lives, we get inspired by social media influencers and then try to be exactly like them without knowing their lives might be disturbed too, maybe we are complaining about our looks by contrasting ourselves with celebrities without knowing that how many people out there are acid victims who are still trying to live their life with will power they possess, perhaps we think that everyone around us is happy and we are the only one who’s going through difficult time in terms of money but actually people are too good at hiding their bad financial status or maybe we are going through a toxic relationship or maybe we are a one sided lover. Patently there can be other reasons too for depression and sometimes there’s no reason, you just feel kind of empty but in today’s generation above mentioned reasons contribute a lot. But if we even try to see the smallest part of this little sphere we’ll realize how petite our grieves are. There are so many people who are suffering more than us, who are living more miserable lives than us and still we are unhappy and disregarding heaps of God’s blessings. Once you have decided upon getting yourself out from depression means half of the depression is already cured. All you gotta do is value your life, value your efforts and appreciate your every single work done. And remember you don’t need people to treasure your every endeavour because only few people are good enough to perceive your struggles and efforts not everyone.
